Egg Salad Sandwich

Sometimes maybe it is enough for one day to just get myself fed. We struggle to find meaning; we want to be needed and desired. It’s not hard work to make myself a sandwich. Yet, I feel a certain kinship with all the creatures on this earth, alive and previously alive. I’ve survived another day. I did my part.
